If you knew your own beauty, you would be the idol of yourself.
– Rumi

These playful classes are for those who wish to connect with their “lightness of being” via a gentle, active practice.

When Rumi says, “If you knew your own beauty, you would be the idol of yourself,” he is referring to our inner beauty—the primal awareness that is our truest Self. We will dip into meditation to become more aware of awareness at the end of every workshop.

The breath is a kind of vehicle that brings us back to our body in the present moment.
– Thich Nhat Hanh

In these classes, we move gently with the breath, stretch and release tension in our muscles, ground our energy, and find deep relaxation in the restorative poses.

All are welcome—newcomers and students with therapeutic issues, as well as those looking for a relaxing, meditative yoga practice.
